On the 4th of July, we went to Delta. I caught a trout there with my hands. It was slippery. I ate it. I got a sword and a buzzer. I tricked a whole lot of my friends with the buzzer. My mom said that if I ever buzz her with the buzzer she will take it away from me, maybe forever.
We went to Uncle Marc's house. We did a ton of fireworks. We did fun fireworks. I popped some poppers. We did big fireworks and small fireworks. I like them both the same. Sometimes I got to light the big fireworks. It was my favorite part. We also had hot dogs and hamburgers. I didn't have any dessert. It was fun playing with Atlas and all my cousins. I can't wait until the next fourth of July.
Dempsey: Don't die your hair, Mom. It won't be here anymore.

I played with my friends at nursery. The girl in the yellow dress and the girl in the white dress.
Zeke: "What are the ABCs?"
Dempsey: "My ABCs. See right here. (Puzzle pieces) she sings, "ABC, next time wont you sing with me."
